One couch. One price. One trip.
You don't need a full moving crew to move a sofa across Brooklyn. Pick your item, tell us about the stairs, and see the price before anyone calls you.

Most NYC buildings won't let a mover past the lobby without a Certificate of Insurance naming the building as additional insured. It's the single most common reason a move gets turned away at the door — and it's usually discovered the morning of.
Send us your building's management contact when you book. We issue the COI, send it to them directly, and confirm it's on file before your date. Same day in most cases, and it costs you nothing.

What people say after the truck pulls off
Highly, highly recommend. Experia couldn't have made our move across the country any easier. Nick was great to coordinate with and the team was quick, careful, and thorough. Would hire these guys again in a heartbeat.
This was the best moving experience I've had in New York so far. Great pricing and amazing service. Slav and Vlad were super nice and attentive, packed and unpacked everything carefully. Very efficient guys — they clearly know what they're doing.
Great experience from start to finish. The quote was reasonable, the team was responsive to all my questions, and the movers themselves were punctual and efficient, while also being careful and considerate with my stuff. Would use Experia again.
This was my second time working with Nick and the Experia moving team and I highly recommend them. Great communication, service and value. I will use them again for the next move.
Straight answers
What counts as a “single item” move?
One large object plus anything you can carry yourself in one trip. A sofa and two boxes is a single-item move. A sofa, a bed, and a dresser is a small move — different rate, still flat, and we'll quote it the same day.
Do you disassemble the item?
Yes, when it's needed to clear a doorway or stairwell — bed frames, table legs, sectional pieces, treadmill uprights. Tell us in advance so we bring the right tools. It's $60 and covers taking it apart and putting it back together at the other end.
My building needs a Certificate of Insurance. Can you handle it?
Yes, and it's free. Send us the building management email when you book. We issue the COI naming your building as additional insured and send it directly to them — usually the same business day. We confirm it's accepted before your move date, so nobody gets turned away in the lobby.
What if my item doesn't fit through the door or stairwell?
Send a photo and a rough measurement when you request the quote and we'll flag it before booking. For genuinely tight cases we can hoist through a window, but that needs a site check and a separate quote — we won't discover it on moving day and leave you stuck.
Is my item insured while you have it?
Every move carries basic carrier liability plus $100,000 cargo coverage under our DOT authority (#3393403). For high-value pieces — art, antiques, instruments — ask about full-value protection when you book and we'll price it into the quote.
How fast can you come?
Same-day and next-day slots are usually available outside the end-of-month rush. If your building requires a COI or an elevator reservation, give us 48 hours so the paperwork clears in time.
Where do you go?
All five boroughs, plus Long Island City, Jersey City, Hoboken, White Plains, Long Island, and Connecticut. Longer routes — the Hamptons, Boston, DC, Philadelphia, Miami — are quoted per trip.
How do I pay, and when?
Card or bank transfer on completion. Nothing is charged when you get the quote and we don't hold a card to book. The flat rate on your signed contract is the final number unless you add work on the day.
Tell us the item. Get a flat price back.
No sales call, no hourly meter, no card on file. Two minutes of details and a number in writing you can hold us to.
